What testing and quality control processes ensure your cable assemblies meet mission-critical standards?
Unlike manufacturers that rely on sample testing, MRO performs 100% electrical testing and inspection for all Class 3 products to ensure zero-defect performance. Our rigorous testing protocol includes visual inspections, continuity verification, and pull testing up to 1000 lbs-force.
For harsh environments, we perform specialized MIL-STD-108 Submergence and Spraytight testing.
This exhaustive approach maintains our elite 99.7% or higher ISO Quality Rating.

Does MRO design and manufacture custom overmolds in-house?
Yes. MRO features an in-house machine shop with multiple CNC machines and a dedicated tooling design team to create custom molds. We deliver custom, precision-cut molds in as little as one week – operating at twice the industry speed – at approximately one-third the price of our competitors.

Is MRO Electronics ITAR compliant, and what defense certifications do you hold?
Yes. MRO Electronics is a trusted partner for ITAR-controlled projects via our registration in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP #CG19448), which the U.S. government recognizes as an ITAR-equivalent security standard.
We hold an active Joint Certification Program (JCP #0081550) status, allowing us to receive and protect sensitive military technical data under the ITAR Canadian Exemption.
We also comply with DFARS 252.225-7021 Trade Agreements and follow strict AS9100 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 standards.
