RG58/U A commonly used 50 Ohm coaxial cable. This is a medium-sized cable usually used for RF communications below 1 GHz. It has a 20 AWG solid inner conductor, solid polyethylene dielectric, tinned copper braid shield, and a PVC jacket of 5mm (0.195 inch) OD. The temperature range is -20 to +60 C (-4 to 140 F). Electrically it has a velocity factor of 66%, 53 ohm impedance, and a capacitance of 28.5 pf/ft. It is FT1 fire rated, and is RoHS compliant.
