LOW LOSS POLYURETHANE JACKET STRANDED COAXIAL CABLE / FLL240SFPU

This cable is similar to LMR240 but very flexible. This outdoor-rated coaxial cable can be used used for cellular, broadcast, base stations or anywhere a medium coax is needed up to a cutoff of 31 GHz.The center conductor is stranded bare copper 1.42mm (.056 inch), the dielectric is foamed polyethylene, the shield is bonded aluminum foil covered with a tinned copper braid, the outer jacket is black polyurethane of 6.1mm (.24 inches) OD. This polyurethane jacket features a wide operating temperature range (-40c to +85 C) and great cold weather flexibility. Polyurethane is waterproof as well as oil resistant, chemical resistant, UV resistant, and salt spray resistant. It’s mechanically very tough, difficult to cut or tear. Its excellent memory makes it ideal for retractile cords. Polyurethane is available in matte finish for military purposes. When a cable is needed in situations like outdoor oil field operation polyurethane should be on the shortlist. The propagation velocity (velocity factor) is 84. the impedance is 50 ohms, the capacitance is 24.2 pf/ft, and the cutoff frequency is 31 GHz.
