A commonly used 75 Ohm coaxial cable for video and CATV use. The following specifications are typical but stock may vary depending on the supplier. This is a medium sized cable usable to 1GHz. It has a solid 0.81mm, (.032 inch) tinned copper inner conductor, a foamed polyethylene dielectric, a copper braid shield and a polyurethane  jacket of 5.9mm (0.232 inch) OD. This polyurethane jacket features a wide operating temperature range (-40c to +85c) and great cold weather flexibility. Polyurethane is waterproof as well as oil resistant, chemical resistant, UV resistant, and salt spray resistant. It’s mechanically very tough, difficult to cut or tear. Its excellent memory makes it ideal for retractile cords. When a cable is needed in situations like outdoor oil field operation polyurethane should be on the short list. The propagation velocity (velocity factor) is 83%, 75 ohm impedance, a temperature rating of -40 to +85 C and a capacitance of 16.2 pf/ft.
