COAXIAL CABLE. DUAL SHIELD, SOLID CONDUCTOR, ROHS COMPLIANT. FLL400

This popular coaxial cable is functionally equivalent to LMR400. It is a drop-in replacement for RG8 or 9913 cables. A heavy, coaxial cable used for cellular, broadcast, base stations, or anywhere low loss at higher frequencies is important. The inner conductor is copper clad aluminum of 2.76mm (0.11 inches), the dielectric is a foamed polyethylene, the shield is aluminum tape covered with a tinned copper braid and the outer jacket is polyethylene of 10.25 mm (0.4 inch) OD. The PE jacket enhances the cable’s cold weather capability, chemical and water resistance, and allows for direct burial. The temperature range is -40 to +85 C (-40 to +185 F). The propagation velocity (velocity factor) is 85%, capacitance is 23.8 pf/ft, and impedance is 50 ohms. The cable is RoHS compliant.
